Mai mult ca sigur va întrebaţi daca am scapat cu viată din controlul feroviar executat asupra mea până la sange şi în toate cotloanele posibile de către funcţionara ceferistă despre care v-am povestit în ultimul episod.
Bineinteles că am scapat cu viaţă. Ba chiar revigorat, as putea spune. Intinerit cu vreo douăzeci de ani cel putin. Motiv pentru care zilele trecute am putut fi văzut plimbându-mă agale pe străzile frumosului nostru oraş, lipsit de griji si fluierând concertul pentru pian în do minor al lui Rachmaninov.
La un moment dat mi-am adus însă aminte de datorie. Aşa se face că paşii m-au purtat in redacţia iubitei noastre gazete. Acolo, insă, atmosfera era cu totul alta. Colegul Pornel Fugaru, neras şi deosebit de beat, îsi tinea capul în palme de vreo două săptămâni si ofta adânc de tot atatea. Restul colegilor nu arătau mult diferit.
Inainte să apuc să zic ceva, cu o voce dogită, cutremurătoare de pereţi, domnul Fugaru m-a anunţat că sunt concediat. Fusese nevoie, se pare, de numai două articole succinte despre aventurile mele sexuale de serie B ca intregul sistem politic si judiciar românesc să fie dat peste cap.
Cum-necum, mi se explica, ceea ce scrisesem revoltase opinia publica intr-o asemenea măsură că acum mi se vroia capul. Iată, deci, în ce capcană insidioasă mă atrăsese frumoasa extraterestră. Pretul platit in natură merita insă cu totul chiar şi in aceste condiţii, trebuia să recunosc.
Bineinteles ca mi-am luat apărarea. Am sustinut sus si tare că, dimpotrivă, contributiile mele salvaseră ziarul de la distrugere şi că, în sinea lor, toţi oamenii vroiau să afle experientele mele dar nu recunoşteau. Mai bine ca prin acest efort să-i silim să-şi arate adevărata faţă, am sugerat, moment în care domnul Fugaru s-a ridicat şi, cu ultimele puteri, a spart călimara de pămant.
Era momentul să plec, probabil pentru totdeauna. Ca de atâtea alte ori, însă, providenţa şi-a făcut intrarea în exact acel moment prin persoana unei colege al carei nume nici măcar nu mi-l aminteam, dar care mă ceruse în căsătorie de cel putin 50 de ori. Dragostea pe care mi-o purta era totuşi vesnica din moment ce, cu lacrimi in ochi, cerandu-si incontinuu iertare pentru faptele mele (!!), a 
ingenuncheat şi l-a desfacut la pantaloni pe brusc mult mai vioiul domn Fugaru.
Restul e previzibil. A fost nevoie doar de aceasta mica scânteie pentru ca intreaga redacţie sa se dezlantuie intr-un meci de fotbal nemaivazut. Mingile si portile avand, desigur, un aspect mult mai carnal decat cel cu care suntem obişnuiti de televizor.
Am ieşit mulţumit, mândru de faptul că din acest eveniment aveau să se nască mulţi copii. Incă o dată, prezenţa mea marcase decisiv un anumit loc şi spaţiu, iar faptul că acum era vorba chiar despre iubitul nostru colectiv nu putea decat să-mi confirme că misiunea încredinţată mie de frumoasa extraterestră era mai mult decat dezirabilă.
